Here are a few things (mostly health-related) that I have been into lately. Some since day one and some are more recent obsessions. Please reply with your own favorites so I can check them out!

My favorite…

Mattress: This one I get asked about all the time. And there really is no perfect answer. There are a lot of great mattresses out there, but there are also a lot of average mattress companies that have great ADVERTISING. Which drives up the cost without giving you a quality product. I have bought two of these Zinus Mattresses and have been so happy with the firmness and comfort of them both. You also won’t be struck with sticker shock when you check them out which can only help with your sleep

Collagen: Many of you already know about the incredible benefits of collagen for your joints, skin, and overall health. There are so many out there; how do you pick a quality brand? I looooove Further Food they make collagen powder that can be added to smoothies, soups, coffee, etc. They make a few other products but their bread and butter is collagen and they do it well (and transparently). Bonus: they are a female owned company!

Posture Exercise: Most of the time working from home doesn’t come with any ergonomic upgrades. Even if you are answering emails at the kitchen counter there are things you can do for a more favorable posture. Try this exercise called Bruegger’s Relief Position

Podcast: We have so many resources in the Twin Cities area when it comes to healers and alternative medicine providers. This pod, Well Connected Twin Cities, takes us inside these different wellness practices in our own backyard. It’s so rad!

Universal Tip: Okay let’s wrap it up with a simple one. There is a really good chance that if you are a human and on earth you aren’t drinking enough water right now. Maybe you are sick of hearing this one, but it bears repeating! If you have chronic pain or digestive issues or insomnia or many other things try (just try) drinking a gallon of water/day for 2 weeks and see how you feel.

That’s all I’ve got. Remember to share your favorites with me by replying to this email. I would love to know!

Be well!
